After going over just two teams with a bye in week five, there’s a lot more as we look ahead to week six. That number doubles with four teams having a bye in week six this year.
Those teams are the Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins.
Now that we’ve gone over the teams, here are the key players from each that you need to know for the 2026 fantasy football season. As we did in our previous week five article, the consensus ADP will come from FootballGuys.
1. Detroit Lions
Jahmyr Gibbs: ADP 1
Amon-Ra St. Brown: ADP 7
Sam LaPorta: ADP 87
Jared Goff: ADP 112
Isiah Pacheco: 139
According to the consensus ADP, this Detroit Lions team has the best player in 2026 fantasy football. Jahmyr Gibbs has scored at least 21 PPG (PPR) twice in a row now, and with the departure of David Montgomery, the hype is understandable.
It doesn’t stop there, as Amon-Ra St. Brown gives the Lions yet another player inside the top 10.
From there it’s a drop to Sam LaPorta, who hasn’t quite been able to get back to his 14.1 PPG season, but Jared Goff at 112 shows confidence in this offense, considering he had just 17.5 PPG last year.
As for Isiah Pacheco, he hasn’t quite been the same since his 2023 season with 15.3 PPG, due to injuries. Despite having less than nine PPG in each of his last two seasons, this being a strong offense is why Pacheco is still inside the top 150.
2. Cincinnati Bengals
Ja’Marr Chase: ADP 3
Chase Brown: ADP 16
Tee Higgins: ADP 38
Joe Burrow: ADP 57
Mike Gesicki: ADP 257
The Cincinnati Bengals are known for their offense by most NFL fans, so it’s not a shock to see a number of players with a high ADP. It says a lot about a team, the quarterback, and the talent of each player to have two wide receivers viewed this highly.
This team is a bit interesting, as while they have a ton of star players, once you get Joe Burrow with an ADP of 57, there’s not another player among the top 150.
Outside of Mike Gesicki, who hasn’t scored over nine PPG since 2021, this team has a number of players who should have a big year.
3. Minnesota Vikings
Justin Jefferson: ADP 10
Jordan Addison: ADP 104
Aaron Jones: ADP 113
Jordan Mason: ADP 118
Kyler Murray: ADP 120
T.J. Hockenson: ADP 161
Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison have both found a lot of success in fantasy football. In 2024, Jefferson had 18.7 PPG while Addison had 14.2, but both saw their numbers drop in 2025 with Sam Darnold no longer on the team.
It’s worth noting that J.J. McCarthy, who started in 10 games last year, is down at 281 compared to Kyler Murray at 120. With Murray, he’s an intriguing player for fantasy football given his past success, such as when he had at least 18 PPG from 2020 to 2023.
That said, there’s risk there as Murray only played in five games last year due to injury and his PPG have declined each year since 2024.
Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason are neck and neck, with Jones being the more established back, but he’s 31 years old. Mason only had 8.1 PPG last year, but he had 4.8 YPC, and he’s 27 years old.
T.J. Hockenson, at 29 years old, only had 8.7 PPG in 2024, and he had just 7.5 PPG in 2025. It just doesn’t seem like Hockenson has been the same since his ACL injury.
4. Miami Dolphins
De’Von Achane: ADP 13
Malik Willis: ADP 136
Malik Washington: ADP 183
Greg Dulcich: ADP 206
The Miami Dolphins scored just the 8th least PPG in the NFL last year, and they weren’t able to make a ton of major improvements.
De’Von Achane is fantastic, having scored at least 17 PPG every year with 20.2 last season. Once you get past there, Malik Willis is the only other player inside the top 150.
Willis has a strong ceiling as a passer, but he could be interesting as a fantasy football option due to his running ability. In four games last year, Willis had 123 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Malik Washington and Greg Dulcich aren’t very exciting options, but if Willis does find success, I’d expect Washington to be an interesting potential FLEX play in 2026 fantasy football.
