Tickets for Oasis’s comeback tour went on sale in 2024, they sold out immediately, but some fans criticised the sales process.
Prices were affected by “dynamic pricing”, where prices were increased by more than £200 to reflect growing demand.
More than 4% of the UK population applied for tickets to see Oasis perform at the Hertfordshire venue on 10 and 11 August 1996.
A documentary following the band’s 2025 reunion tour, featuring their first interviews together since before they split in 2009, will release in September.
In 2024, the owner of Knebworth House, Henry Lytton Cobbold, said he wanted the band to return to the venue to perform a 30th anniversary show.
This weekend also marks the 40th anniversary of Freddie Mercury’s final performance with Queen, which took place at the venue.
Other artists to have performed at Knebworth include Robbie Williams, Sir Paul McCartney and Metallica.
