Lara Kudayisi Don-Momoh, the wife of renowned radio presenter Teddy Don-Momoh, has died.
She was 42.
PREMIUM TIMES earlier reported that Mr Teddy Don-Momoh married Lara, a certified relationship expert, in 2023, nine years after his wife, gospel music star, Kefee, died at a hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, in June 2014.
Lara’s family announced her death in a statement posted on her Instagram page on Monday.
The family said she died peacefully after a brief illness on 30 July.
The statement read: “From the Family of Lara Kudayisi Don-Momoh. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Lara Kudayisi Don-Momoh.
“After a brief illness, Coach Lara passed away peacefully. During this deeply painful time, we humbly ask for privacy and prayers for the peaceful repose of her soul, and for all who mourn this immeasurable loss.”
Funeral arrangements
The family said they will announce details of her funeral arrangements and other related matters in due course.
“We sincerely thank everyone for the love, support, prayers, and understanding extended to the family during this difficult time.”

Lara’s death came just weeks after she and her husband welcomed their first child together.
Lara worked as a cognitive behavioural therapist and founded Lara Kudayisi International, a therapy organisation.
Popularly known as the “Matchmaking Mistress”, she authored two books, “How the Matchmaker Marriage Failed” and “What’s Wrong with My Taste in Men.”
She also released an audiobook titled “21 Days Healing Devotional.”
