Nigerian skit maker-turned-streamer Carter Efe, real name Odahohwo Joseph Efe, has finally responded to claims by Babcock University disputing a certificate purportedly showing he graduated from the institution with a first-class degree.
The document, which surfaced online and quickly went viral, had fuelled speculation after Efe previously claimed to have bagged the impressive academic feat from the university.
In a video circulating online, the father of one appeared alongside members of his team to address the controversy.
He claimed to have heard that the university was searching for him, but jokingly insisted they wouldn’t be able to find him.
Carter Efe sets condition for Babcock University
In the clip, the content creator went further, stating that should he ever show up at Babcock University, the institution would first have to pay him N100,000 as a “ticket fee” to see him.
He added that he was already on his way, as people around him cheered him on in the background.
“I hear say una dey look for me, una go pay N100k for ticket to see me. I dey come.”
