Kaduna State University (KASU) is losing experienced academic workforce, with the university’s ASUU chapter saying more than 200 professors and other lecturers had left the institution over poor service conditions and the failure to implement the 2025 Federal Government-ASUU agreement. The ASUU-KASU chairman, Abubakar Abdullahi, disclosed this at a press briefing in Kaduna, according to a communiqué from the meeting. Swedish electric and autonomous trucking company Einride said Tuesday it plans to buy 500 Tesla Semis and make the electric big rigs available to Amazon and other customers. The 2026 Osun governorship election produced a striking electoral paradox: more voters came to the polls, both leading candidates increased their parties’ vote totals, yet the gap between the leading candidates, Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party and Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) widened dramatically.
