The newly appointed Senior Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Obajulaye, has pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him by the governor, promising to serve the state with diligence, humility and integrity.
Obajulaye, an indigene of Irele Local Government Area, expressed appreciation to Aiyedatiwa for the opportunity to serve in his administration, describing the appointment as both a personal honour and recognition of the contributions of the people of Irele to the development of Ondo State.
In a statement on Monday, he said the appointment was a call to greater service and an opportunity to contribute to the development of the state and the success of the administration.
“I am deeply grateful to His Excellency, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for finding me worthy of this appointment. I do not take the confidence reposed in me for granted.
“I see this appointment as a call to greater service and an opportunity to contribute my quota to the development of Ondo State and the success of this administration,” he said.
Obajulaye pledged his loyalty and commitment to the Aiyedatiwa administration, assuring that he would discharge his responsibilities with diligence, humility and integrity.
He also thanked the people of Irele Local Government, political leaders, family members, friends and supporters for their encouragement and support.
The SSA-designate assured the people of Irele and Ondo State that he would remain accessible and committed to advancing their interests.
He further congratulated Aiyedatiwa on what he described as efforts to promote inclusive governance, saying his appointment had strengthened his resolve to serve the state diligently.
Obajulaye urged the people of Irele and Ondo State to continue supporting the governor’s administration, saying collective support was necessary to achieve sustainable development.
