Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has confirmed the rescue of seven abducted students of Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Saapade, by combined efforts of security personnel. Mr Abiodun confirmed the rescue at a news conference held at the state secretariat in Abeokuta on Thursday. The federal government has ordered the immediate implementation of measures to strengthen the protection of health workers across the country following a rise in incidents of harassment, intimidation and assault in healthcare facilities.
