The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has retracted a public alert concerning Deleject Disposable Needles, assuring healthcare providers, distributors and the public that the products available on the market are safe for use. The agency said Public Alert No. 042/2026, which reported the presence of whitish particulate matter in Deleject Disposable Needle Batch No. 240605, was uploaded to its website in error. The Academic Staff Union of Universities, Federal University Kashere (ASUU-FUK) Branch, has commenced an Active Non-Compliance action over what it described as the unlawful reduction of salaries of its members by the Federal Government.
