The Chief Imam of Ilaro, Ogun State, Tajudeen Adewunmi, has revealed why veteran actor and screenwriter Taiwo “Ogogo” Hassan entrusted him with ₦25 million before his death. The Federal Government has commenced moves to overhaul the accreditation system for tertiary institutions in the country, with the Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, warning institutions against presenting borrowed staff, equipment and facilities during accreditation exercises. Britain, France, and Canada have announced plans to impose sanctions on goods from Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank over the continuous attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinians.
