The best government bond market may be outside the United States.Allspring Global Investments’ George Bory is pushing clients toward countries whose central banks are raising interest rates or have different inflation dynamics.”Bond markets everywhere have rushed to price inflation. Places like the UK, certainly across Europe, even places like Australia — we’ve seen a material run-up in central bank tightening expectations,” he told CNBC’s “ETF Edge” this week. “Now, some of that’s been delivered on already. The ECB raised rates just a few weeks ago. The expectation is they will do a bit more. But unless the Fed is going…

By Jacob Ajom What happened to the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria? It hurts to note that Nigeria’s legacy in age group football competitions has become a distant history. The Golden Eaglets, with five FIFA World Cup titles and three runners up medals are the most successful international team in the world in that category. They have also won U17 AFCON twice. In the U20 class, the Flying Eagles used to be one of the best out of Africa with two silver medals from the FIFA U20 World Cup. In 1996, Nigeria shook the world when the Dream Team(as the U23…
Luca Guadagnino says it wasn’t surprising Amazon MGM dropped his nearly-finished Sam Altman movie Artificial shortly after Amazon announced a $50 billion investment in OpenAI. “I can’t say much because we are right in the middle of this situation,” Guadagnino told Italian television, “[but] these are industrial policies that are certainly not new.” Speaking to news show Otto e mezzo on Italian network La7, Guadagnino cited an incident from 2003 when CBS canceled the broadcast of The Regans, a miniseries about President Ronald Regan and his family, starring Josh Brolin and Judy Davis, following a conservative backlash. (The series eventually…
BakeriesIt has to be Københavns Bageri; they upgrade beloved Danish classics using the best ingredients. The cardamom buns are second to none, but the “potato cake” – that’s a choux bun filled with vanilla custard and topped with a cocoa-dusted marzipan disc to resemble a potato – might be my favourite. MF For bread, go to Tír Bakery in the morning and stand in line – they sell out every day, but their bread is the best. For croissants, go to Bageriet B and sit outside and enjoy a good filter coffee. THTempting pastries at Juno the Bakery. Photograph: Juno…

Two men in their 20s were found within five hours thanks to an artificial intelligence-powered drone, which used thermal imaging to locate them.
