Tyson Fury has publicly labelled Anthony Joshua a “coward”, accusing his fellow former heavyweight champion of stalling final negotiations for their long-awaited “Battle of Britain” showdown.

Fury questions Joshua over stalled deal
Fury launched his latest verbal attack on Joshua in a video posted on Instagram on Wednesday, questioning why a deal for the long-awaited fight had yet to be finalised.
The British heavyweights are expected to meet on November 20, with Madison Square Garden in New York emerging as the likely venue.

Anthony Joshua reportedly prefers London’s Wembley Stadium, while the Saudi-backed promotional company financing the fight wants to attract a larger American audience through Netflix.
“Joshua, where are you? Still no deal done. It’s getting quite tiring,” Fury said.
“I’ve been down to fight every location that’s been mentioned – England, Ireland, Vegas, New York, back to England, back to Ireland, back to New York.
“Listen, I’ve said yep, yep, yep, yep, yep, every single time. Zero stipulations.”
Fury accuses Joshua of avoiding fight
Fury accused Joshua of deliberately avoiding the fight and questioned whether his compatriot genuinely wants the showdown.
“The facts are I feel like you’re being a coward. I feel like you don’t want the fight and you’re just conning everybody. I feel like you’ve been doing that for years,” he said.
Fury added: “You’ve had many opportunities to fight me, but deep down you’ve never really wanted it, so let’s see if you’re going to man up for a final time.”,
Joshua recovered from early knockdowns
Joshua returned to action in July with a second-round knockout of unheralded Kristian Prenga, although he was twice knocked down himself in the opening round.
The proposed Fury-Joshua fight would bring together two of Britain’s biggest heavyweight names, with both fighters having previously held world titles.
