Nigerian – American filmmaker and founder of Bush Doctor Studios,Temitope Jude Egwu is carving out a niche for strong and vibrant storytelling for the Nollywood audience.
The writer, director and producer of the 2023 Nollywood thriller short film “Wrong Door” has expressed his keen interest in challenging the industry’s perspective as he continues to produce highly compelling and emotionally gripping films that stand the test of time under Bush Doctor Studios.
The young, visionary filmmaker who graduated from Montclair State University, New Jersey with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art said, “filmmaking offers me the opportunity to entertain audiences while expressing myself in ways only movies make possible”
Over the years, Temitope has humbly studied the art of Nollywood filmmaking under the mentorship of notable Actor and filmmaker Wale Ilebiyi and several other veterans in the industry.
As Bush Doctor Studios continues to expand its horizon across Nigeria and internationally, Temitope looks forward to collaborating with distributors and film enthusiasts to bring the Nollywood dream to life.
“Movies, tv shows and cartoons were a huge part of my childhood. When I wasn’t watching movies, I was staging plays in school or in church and writing stories in class. I want to and have to tell stories, incredible ones.”Temitope said.
