A Nigerian mobility and travel services company, Ride With Me Logistics, has unveiled plans to tackle longstanding transportation and logistics challenges affecting the country’s tourism, travel, entertainment and corporate sectors through an integrated service model designed to deliver seamless travel experiences.
Founder of the company, Samuel Isong, said it was established after years of witnessing how unreliable transportation disrupted events, business engagements and tourism activities, particularly during his time in artist management. “Ride With Me was born from experience,” Isong said, explaining that his work in the entertainment industry exposed him to recurring logistical failures.
“For years, I watched artists miss sound checks because transportation fell through. I saw executives struggle to coordinate airport pickups, tourists unsure who to trust, and event organisers managing five or six different vendors just to move people from one place to another,” he said. According to him, those experiences revealed a broader structural problem.
To address these challenges, the company has expanded beyond transportation to provide integrated services covering tourism, flight bookings, tours and travel, concerts and event logistics. Explaining the strategy behind the expansion, Isong said customers do not view travel as separate industries but expect one coordinated experience.
Speaking on the company’s all-in-one “360 Package”, Isong argued that uncertainty, rather than transportation itself, remains the greatest obstacle for travellers and event organisers. “Growing from a local setup into a multi-city transport network across Nigeria was a massive battle,” he said. “The team had to deal with tough interstate roads, unforeseen delays, and the stress of keeping the exact same high standard across 25+ states. There were days the road tested everything we had.”
Looking ahead, Isong said the company’s ambition extends beyond transportation to becoming a critical enabler of tourism, entertainment, corporate travel and major events across Africa. “Our vision goes beyond moving people. We want to become the infrastructure that powers tourism, entertainment, corporate travel, and major events across Africa,” he said.
