Two years ago, E-Lawyer Nigeria launched it’s career fair festival which was designed to address one of the most pressing challenges facing young professionals and graduates across Africa: the gap between talent and career opportunities.
This year E-lawyer Nigeria is partnering with Miva Open University and Ascend Global on it’s career fair event.
More than a traditional career fair, the festival will create a platform where students, graduates, young professionals, employers, recruiters, entrepreneurs and industry leaders can connect, learn, network and explore opportunities for career growth.
The partnership with Miva Open University brings the education sector into the conversation around employability and the future of work. As technology continues to influence how people learn and work, the organisers say there is a growing need to ensure that education and industry remain closely connected.
The partnership will create opportunities for participants to explore the relationship between education, skills development and career readiness, while encouraging young people to think more intentionally about the skills and experiences required in today’s economy.
Ascend Global’s participation further expands the festival’s focus beyond traditional career pathways. With African professionals increasingly participating in a global labour market, conversations around international opportunities, professional visibility, leadership and career mobility are becoming increasingly relevant.
The partnership is expected to contribute to the festival’s broader objective of helping young professionals understand and navigate opportunities within and beyond their immediate markets.
For years, E-Lawyer Nigeria has built a strong community around career development, professional education and access to opportunities. Through its Career Fair, the organisation has continued to create spaces where young people can engage directly with organisations and professionals shaping the future of work. The 2026 Career Fair Festival builds on this vision by creating an even broader ecosystem for career discovery and professional advancement.
From career conversations and employer engagement to networking, skills development and access to opportunities, participants will be able to interact with professionals and organisations across multiple industries.

The 2026 career fair festival will hold on the 8th of September, 2026 at Miva Open University, Yaba, Lagos.
